Open access allows large users of Power, typically having connected load of 1 MW and above, to buy cheaper Power (both conventional and renewable power) from the open market. Open Access also helps consumers to procure Power during load restriction period.

RPTCL offers its services to various industrial and commercial consumers, for procurement of power based on bilateral basis and through Power exchange. The Company offers solutions as per market conditions from conventional and renewable sources at the most economically viable solution existing in the market.

RPTCL has also successfully traded for renewable generators like Azure power in the power exchange under the newly launched market segment viz. G-DAM and G-TAM.

RPTCL has successfully participated in MSTC Deep portal tenders for renewable generators like Yogendera Power Ltd.

RPTCL has a large open access consumer base of high repute, and to name a few like Apollo Tyres, CEAT tyres, Welspun Ltd., Atul Ltd., Air Liquide, KEC International, JPB Fibres, JS Auto etc.
